Introduction to Kettlebell Workout – Free Taster Session Join us for a free Kettlebell Workout taster session on Sunday, 25th August, at 10am. This session is part of the Café programme, with Café Medi beginning on 16th September. You can use a kettlebell or a dumbbell for this introduction to kettlebells. Why Kettlebells? Kettlebells are versatile tools that offer an effective way to build strength, improve conditioning, and enhance overall fitness. During menopause, strength training is particularly beneficial as it helps maintain muscle mass, supports bone density, and improves metabolism. Regular strength training can also alleviate some common symptoms associated with menopause, such as weight gain and decreased energy levels. What to Expect This 20-minute session will introduce you to basic kettlebell exercises, such as the kettlebell swing, goblet squat, and kettlebell press. These exercises are designed to target multiple muscle groups, improve core stability, and enhance functional strength. The session is suitable for all fitness levels, and each exercise can be adapted to meet your needs. Learning the Technique We will begin with a brief warm-up to prepare your muscles and joints. I will then guide you through each kettlebell movement, focusing on proper technique to ensure a safe and effective workout. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining good form throughout the session to help you get the most out of each exercise.
