Service Description
This is a relaxed and uplifting morning designed to help you move more, learn something useful, and enjoy being around like-minded people. A chance to step away from the usual routine, try some enjoyable exercise, and better understand what is happening in your body during midlife and beyond. The morning combines movement, practical menopause wellbeing advice, coffee, chat and a little bit of disco. Nothing extreme. Nothing intimidating. Just sensible, supportive exercise and evidence-based information delivered in a friendly and down-to-earth way. Come on your own or with a friend. Catch up with people you already know from class, or meet others navigating many of the same changes. You are welcome to dip in and out of sessions or stay for the whole morning. Please bring a camping chair or deckchair for the refreshments and talk session. ☀️ Sunday 21st June 2026 🕘 09:00 – 12:00 💷 £7 – attend part or all of the morning 09:00 – 09:20 | Kettlebell Workout A short but effective full-body strength session using kettlebells to improve muscle strength, balance, coordination and functional fitness. Suitable for all levels, with options to adapt intensity as needed. 09:30 – 09:50 | Step Workout A fun and energetic step session combining cardio and strength work to support heart health, stamina, lower body strength and coordination. Adjustable for all abilities and fitness levels. 10:00 – 10:45 | Refreshments & Menopause Wellbeing Talk (Please bring your camping chair!) A relaxed and research-informed session looking at what actually happens in the body during menopause, and what we can do to support ourselves in a practical and realistic way. We will explore how hormonal changes influence muscle mass, bone health, metabolism, recovery, energy and general wellbeing. From there, we will focus on simple strategies that genuinely help. This includes: • Protein intake for muscle maintenance and healthy ageing • Collagen and joint support • Exercise and recovery • Supplements — where they may help and where marketing gets a little overexcited • Supporting stable energy levels throughout the day There will also be time for coffee, chat, questions and shared experiences in a relaxed and supportive setting. 11:00 – 11:45 | Disco Diva Finish the morning with Disco Diva — a feel-good dance fitness session packed with disco classics, easy-to-follow routines and enough movement to forget you are technically exercising.
