For Instructors Working Toward Practitioner Status
For qualified professionals who want to demonstrate practical expertise and achieve full recognition as a Menopause Health & Wellbeing Practitioner.
This final stage builds on your knowledge and applied learning from Parts 1 and 2.
You’ll plan, deliver, and evaluate an exercise session specifically designed to support individuals experiencing menopause — showcasing your ability to translate evidence-based understanding into safe, inclusive, and effective practice.

Fitness professionals wishing to evidence live delivery and gain industry-recognised practitioner status with YMCA Awards
Completing this stage confirms your position as a trusted professional who understands, supports, and advocates for women’s health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

“Practitioner” status is achieved by completing the optional delivery unit within:

YMCA Level 3 Award in Supporting Participation in Physical Activity: Menopause (610/4379/5)

When the optional unit is successfully completed, the learner’s certificate is endorsed with the term “Practitioner”, confirming industry-recognised applied competence.
