FAQ
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. Layers are useful, as we will be moving at some points and sitting for talks at other times.
Trainers or supportive shoes are best for the Disco Diva. You may also want warm socks or an extra layer for the quieter parts of the day - or even a pillow and blanket!
What should I bring?
Please bring:
A water bottle, your own mat or dumbbell if you want, although I will have some available on the day.
You will have a notebook and pen in your pack.
Any medication you may need during the day
Warm layers for relaxation or seated sessions
Do I need to be fit?
-
No. You do not need to be super fit, flexible or experienced.
-
The day is designed to be supportive and accessible.
-
Options will be given throughout, so you can work at a level that feels right for your body.
-
You are always welcome to pause, sit down, miss an exercise or adapt anything you need to.
-
This is not about pushing through. It is about learning what supports your body.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
-
Please let me know before the day if you have an injury, recent surgery, back pain, joint problems, osteoporosis, pelvic floor concerns, a heart condition, or anything else that may affect your movement. I can offer you adjustments to help you enjoy your day
-
The sessions are educational and exercise-based. However, they do not replace medical advice, physiotherapy or treatment from your healthcare professional.
What food is included?
A nourishing lunch will be provided, along with coffee, refreshments and cake.
The aim is to offer food that supports the feel of the day: real food, time to sit, and a chance to connect with other women.
What if I have food allergies or dietary requirements?
Please let me know when you book, or email me as soon as possible, if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. This includes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies or any other food-related needs.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, absolutely. Many women come on their own.
These days are friendly and welcoming. There will be time to chat, but also time to simply listen, learn and enjoy the day in your own way.
A Final Note From Rachel
I hope this day gives you exactly what it has given me: a chance to pause, reconnect and feel stronger from the inside out.
Change may not come easily, but with understanding, support and a little courage, it can take you exactly where you want to go.
“You had arranged the day with a great balance of talks, exercise, laughs, lovely company and of course great food to complement the day.”
