I cannot tell you how much I love these Retreat Days - and I think that the word "treat" is in there for a reason...Often, in classes, or online, I can teach a snippet of what I have learnt about how to support your health and wellbeing, but these days give me the opportunity to talk with you in person about the things I have read, the things I have learnt, the things I have experienced and really, what has made the difference. What have been the lightbulb moments. What can I share that will help you too. Disco Diva now starts the day - because in all fairness, we come feeling a little bit anxious, so why not burn off that worry with some light-hearted way to move, laugh and remind ourselves that exercise does not have to feel serious to be effective. Next comes a chance to listen to some of the research about how we can use our diet (what we do every day) alongside our nutrition (what we choose to eat) to see how that influences our everyday energy, how our hormones influence our appetite, our insulin sensitivity, our bone health, sleep, stress and even our hair and nails! Yes, eating is more about our feeling good than how much we weigh. If you find that the thought of "strength" a bit overwhelming, or you want to get stronger, but don't know how, or you have an injury or condition that limits your movement, then why not have a go at trying some Pilates with weights? As cheesy as it sounds, I actually love the phrase "glow up" because it seems to be about polishing something we already have - that is us! Over the years, I have realised that one thing does not suit all. This sessions looks at what we need to do in 4 specific areas of our life so that we feel good, sleep well, shine at what we do, have energy and enthusiasm and glow from the inside out. A talk after lunch is all that we need to settle in. Your handbook will give you more detail, but this is all about chatting together about things we know, things I have found out from science and bringing it all together. So, Disco Diva, then a talk on diet and nutrition, and a workout of Pilates with small dumbbells, how to "glow up", followed by what are the four pillars of all over health and wellbeing and then some deep relaxation. All of the above, plus a great handbook, a fab goody bag with "tour T-shirt", and access to the online Summer Shape Up which runs from the 15th June - 11th July. Booking Policy for RBHFITNESS Wellness Retreat Day Thank you for your interest in the RBHFITNESS Wellness Retreat Day. Please review the following booking guidelines before securing your place. 1. Booking Process All bookings must be made through our official booking platform or by contacting us directly. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your reservation details. 2. Health & Medical Considerations To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we request that you inform us of any existing health conditions, injuries, or mobility concerns that may affect your participation. If your health status changes between booking and the event, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer appropriate support or adjustments. 3. Dietary Requirements If you have food allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary needs, please provide this information at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements, but advance notice is essential. 4. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event may result in a cancellation fee or loss of the booking fee, unless due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergency). 5. Booking on the Day Same-day bookings may be available, subject to space. However, we strongly advise booking in advance to secure your place. 6. Refunds & Transfers Refunds will be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your booking to another person with prior approval from RBHFITNESS. 7. Event Changes or Cancellations RBHFITNESS reserves the right to modify or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, low attendance). In such cases, participants will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements or refunds will be offered. 8. Liability Disclaimer Participation in the retreat is at your own risk. RBHFITNESS and its affiliates are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses during the event. We encourage participants to listen to their bodies and seek medical advice if uncertain about any activities. By booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
