For fitness professionals ready to apply menopause knowledge in practice and create inclusive, effective training environments. Explore how hormonal changes influence exercise performance, recovery, and long-term health. Learn to programme and adapt sessions safely and confidently for individuals at different stages of menopause — within your scope of practice. You’ll gain the skills to translate understanding into meaningful action, supporting your clients’ health, fitness, and wellbeing with empathy and expertise. Open to: Qualified fitness professionals holding CIMSPA-endorsed entry qualifications (e.g., Gym Instructor, Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates-based Matwork) Professionals seeking to specialise in women’s health and midlife wellbeing This course will strengthen your professional practice and position you as part of a new generation of instructors championing informed, inclusive health and wellbeing support for women in midlife and beyond. For Instructors Working Toward Practitioner Status For qualified professionals who want to demonstrate practical expertise and achieve full recognition as a Menopause Health & Wellbeing Practitioner. This final stage builds on your knowledge and applied learning from Parts 1 and 2. You’ll plan, deliver, and evaluate an exercise session specifically designed to support individuals experiencing menopause — showcasing your ability to translate evidence-based understanding into safe, inclusive, and effective practice. Through this hands-on assessment, you’ll refine your communication, coaching, and programme-design skills, ensuring that every session you deliver reflects compassion, professionalism, and confidence. Open to: Learners who have successfully completed the Apply to Fitness qualification (Part 2) Fitness professionals wishing to evidence live delivery and gain industry-recognised practitioner status with YMCA Awards Completing this stage confirms your position as a trusted professional who understands, supports, and advocates for women’s health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

Learner Policy and Terms of Enrolment Rachel Hubbard Training This policy outlines the terms, expectations, and responsibilities associated with enrolling on a course delivered by Rachel Hubbard Training, in partnership with YMCA Awards. By enrolling on a course, learners confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following. 1. Course Provision and Accreditation Rachel Hubbard Training is an approved YMCA Awards centre delivering accredited Level 3 qualifications related to menopause, health, wellbeing, and physical activity. All qualifications are delivered in accordance with YMCA Awards standards, assessment requirements, and quality assurance procedures. 2. Eligibility and Entry Requirements Foundation qualifications are open to all learners and do not require prior menopause training. Fitness-based qualifications require learners to already hold a relevant CIMSPA-endorsed entry qualification (e.g. Gym Instructor, Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates-based Matwork). It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they meet entry requirements before enrolling. Evidence may be requested. 3. Registration and Learner Details To register learners with YMCA Awards, Rachel Hubbard Training is required to collect accurate personal information, including: Full legal name Email address Postal address Learners are responsible for ensuring all details provided are correct. Incorrect information may delay registration or certification. 4. Learning Format and Support Learning materials are primarily delivered online, with additional live online workshops and optional in-person sessions. Study is largely self-directed, allowing learners to work at their own pace within the permitted timeframe. Tutor support is provided throughout the course via scheduled sessions and reasonable contact outside of workshops. 5. Timeframe for Completion Learners have 18 months from enrolment to complete all required assessments for their qualification(s). Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances but are not guaranteed and may incur additional costs. 6. Assessment and Academic Integrity All assessments must be the learner’s own work. Plagiarism, misrepresentation, or falsification of evidence will be managed in line with YMCA Awards malpractice and maladministration procedures.
