Service Description

Kettlebell Conditioning Kettlebells are compact, versatile and very effective. Their shape allows us to combine strength, cardiovascular fitness and controlled movement in one workout. This class uses a range of whole-body exercises to help you build strength, core stability, balance and coordination. You will learn how to lift, hinge, squat, press and move the kettlebell safely, with clear options to suit your experience and fitness level. The class can help to improve: Whole-body strength Kettlebell exercises use several muscle groups at the same time. This helps you develop practical strength across the legs, hips, back, shoulders and arms. Core stability and posture Controlling the kettlebell challenges the deep abdominal and spinal muscles. This can improve stability, posture and body awareness. Balance and coordination Moving the kettlebell around the body requires control, concentration and coordination. Exercises can be adapted to give you more support when needed. Cardiovascular fitness and endurance Rhythmic kettlebell movements raise the heart rate and challenge muscular endurance, giving you an efficient whole-body workout. Functional movement Many kettlebell exercises reflect movements used in everyday life, including lifting, carrying, squatting and reaching. This can help you feel stronger and more capable during daily activities. Learning the technique Good technique matters. Please watch the kettlebell training video before your first session, or use it as a refresher. The movements are broken down clearly, with practical cues to help you exercise safely and confidently. Exercises may include: Kettlebell swing - for hip strength, power and control Goblet squat - for leg strength, balance and core stability Kettlebell press - for shoulder strength and upper-body control You can use a dumbbell instead of a kettlebell or even a Pilates Ball for your first few sessions whilst you learn the techniques. Whether you are new to kettlebells or returning after a break, this class will help you build technique, confidence and strength at your own pace.
